Meet Denis Shanahan, Shelley Isabel Mann, the Rev. Abel Fraser, Arista Hoge, Woodrow Wilson, and others on a guided tour through Staunton’s own beautiful Thornrose Cemetery. Local costumed actors will tell the stories of the people who made our city their final resting place.
Tour Times:
Saturday, Sept. 26: 10:00, 10:30, 11:00, 11:30, & 1:00
Sunday, September 27: 1:30, 2:00, & 2:30
Tours are limited to 25 people per tour, so make your reservation now! Please select a first and second choice as these tours will fill up quickly. For reservations, call ACHS office manager Betty Lewandowski at 540-248-4151, or fill out this ticket form and mail with your check to the address listed below. No tickets will be mailed until payment is received.
Tours take place rain or shine! Thornrose is steep with uneven ground. Wear good walking shoes. Refreshments served following each tour.
